These pads are typically fabricated in three layers. The top layer wicks away moisture from the skin while maintaining a soft, comfortable surface. The second “hidden” layer absorbs and holds the moisture. These two layers are quilted together with actual stitches--not heat fusion. Therefore, the pads dry well without losing their shape and puckering at the seams and quilting lines. The third layer is waterproof and tear resistant. The pads are plastic and latex free to avoid problems with cracking and latex allergies.
